Budget Friendly Fall Bucket List

With autumn upon us, it’s time to encompass ourselves with comfy clothes, the love of family and friends, and festive activities. When we think of this time of year, we think of earthy tones, crunchy leaves, sweet pumpkin scents, and blankets so comfortable you could get lost in them. The autumn magic truly is in the air during this joyful season, so we’ve compiled a short bucket list to make the absolute most out of it.

1. Go to a Brewery and Get a Fall Flavored Beverage

Around the fall season, many breweries will draft their best pumpkin pale ales, roasted brews, and sensational beverages. Grab one, indulge in the scents, flavors, and undertones of the season where the leaves begin to change. Or, if you aren’t into breweries, grab some hot cocoa! You can’t go wrong. Plus, grabbing hot cocoa is a great activity to do with the kids.

2. Go to Free Admission Days At Art Museums

Check out your local art museum calendar and pop in for the next free admission day! Or, if you’re looking to get outdoors, find local farmers’ markets, festivals, or art exhibits.

3. Build a Fort With Your Kids and Watch Halloween Movies

Who says you can’t be a kid again? Build a fort, make it extra comfy and throw in all the blankets. Make a pillow mattress and bring in a flashlight, your laptop, and a couple of snacks.  Now, you have your personal movie theater! Whether you do this with your kids or a loved one, remember, nobody is ever too old for a bit of fort fun.

4. DIY Crafts and Cooking

Make some cake orange cake pops, paint a pumpkin, or bake a spooky cookie. There are endless opportunities here! With the cold weather creeping nearer and nearer, finding entertaining indoor activities becomes our number one priority. Some craft ideas include getting creative with pumpkin carving,  making a fall welcome mat, or making candles! Some baking ideas include pumpkin pie, bread, and cake. Any goodie you choose to bake this fall season will keep you warm and content.

Well, there you have it! These were just a few ideas to get you started for fall. We hope you complete this list and then some and make some fantastic memories along the way.
